Sign-up deadline approaching for entrepreneurs and
college students interested in annual pitch
competition from Cox Business
WHAT: The Aug. 29 sign-up deadline is quickly approaching for Get Started Las Vegas, an annual business pitch competition from Cox Business designed for entrepreneurs and business owners in Southern Nevada. Five finalists will be selected to pitch their big idea to a distinguished panel of experts. One winner will be named to receive cash and prizes valued at over $17,000 including a one year Cox Business technology package.
Cox Business is also launching Get Started U—a separate pitch competition for college student owned businesses that will take place together with Get Started Las Vegas. Four Get Started U finalists will be selected to pitch their collegiate business plan to a panel of business experts including Shaan Patel, a recent Shark Tank winner! The Get Started U winner will be awarded a business coaching package from Pitch Maps valued at $3,000.
Would be pitchers for Get Started Las Vegas and Get Started U can sign-up at no cost to enter the competition at www.coxblue.com/GetStartedLasVegas. Anyone can join the studio audience to watch the no-cost event in person but registration is required by Sept.15 using the weblink above.
