Free exhibit opens Oct. 9 through election day, Nov. 6
LAS VEGAS, NV — In honor of the Presidential election, from October 9 through November 6, Bauman Rare Books hosts “The American President,” an exceptional exhibit showcasing a selection of rare books, artifacts and autograph documents and letters relating to the U.S. presidency.
Featured are such items as a book from Thomas Jefferson’s library; a pair of spectacles belonging to Abraham Lincoln; a rare Revolutionary-period letter by George Washington; a pair of silhouette portraits of George and Martha Washington; and an original teletype reporting the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
