Century Gaming Technologies Announces Industry Changing Enhancements For Nevada Route
LAS VEGAS, NV — Century Gaming Technologies (Century), formerly United Coin Machine Company, one of the state’s largest independent route operators and developer of Gamblers Bonus, the flagship product of the company for nearly 20 years, is pleased to announce additional technology and industry changing advances that will debut this year. Advances include PowerVision bar tops with Aristocrat slot themes, U1 bar tops and uprights, PowerVision upright games for convenience stores, and Interactive Gamblers Bonus Advantage and i3.
Century’s PowerVision multi-game, multi-denominational bar top machine will soon offer an Aristocrat slot suite for taverns. This is the first time in Aristocrat’s history its games have been offered in Nevada on a bar top. The games will showcase cutting-edge split-screen technology, giving players the choice of Aristocrat slot games or the full suite of PowerVision video poker, keno and slot games. PowerVision will also introduce two new poker games, six new keno games and three new PowerVision slot games in addition to the new Aristocrat slot offerings including Buffalo, Five Dragons and Miss Kitty, an industry changing advance. Century also plans to roll out upright Aristocrat Buffalo games for its growing convenience store market.
According to Steve Arntzen, president and CEO of Century, “these PowerVision advances, coupled with Century’s landmark licensing arrangement with Aristocrat, are game changers for the industry. No other slot operator has been able to bridge this gap through technology advances and strategic partnerships,” Arntzen said. “We remain confident our continual enhancements not only help our customers cultivate new players and enhance their profitability, they deepen game engagement and loyalty amongst existing players. With these new advances, Century continues its leadership role in the route industry as a true innovator.”
Other notable announcements include the rollout of the U1 bar top and upright game that includes the unique Fair Pay system and the ability for players to win up to $250,000 with as little as a $2 bet. “Our exclusive U1 arrangement allows Century locations to offer a game popular with slot parlor players looking for a neighborhood alternative,” stated Arntzen. “It’s a win-win for everyone and another example of what Century is offering over its competitors.”
Interactive Gamblers Bonus Advantage (iGBA) is the first and only automated bonus system to allow automatic instant awards, bonus games and drawing entries to players based on a winning keno or slot event. Truly interactive and highly configurable, the system incorporates custom technological advances using touch-screen tablets and virtual drawing drums to create the most versatile bonus system ever made.
“iGBA is designed to lengthen playing time and deepen entertainment satisfaction of both low and high denomination players for a variety of games including keno, slot, poker and blackjack,” stated Arntzen. “Bottom line, we want to make the gaming experience more fun!” Century is also introducing Instant Cash, allowing Gamblers Bonus locations to include non-member players in promotions for the first time ever. iGBA will also launch Race Time Frenzy, multi-player promotional events awarding Instant Cash to all players who qualify into the race by playing video poker, keno or slots. iGBA also integrates Game Tender with enhanced features for bartenders and game attendants to see real time game activity at a glance. And a new, service button allows location staff to request non-critical machine service without having to pick up a phone.
Century is also debuting its i3 promotional system, another first-of-its-kind product developed specifically for convenience store operators. The three I’s are symbolic of the system’s features which are instant, interactive and inclusive. Rewards are paid in instant cash directly to the credit meter of the game with no attendant effort required; players are awarded a wheel spin for triggering events based on a poker, keno or slot outcome; and all players are eligible for i3 promotional awards just for playing at participating i3 locations. “These enhancements speak to increasing customer service and employ our distinctive and proprietary technology advances to ensure we are meeting as many of our customer objectives as possible,” said Arntzen.
“Century has made significant investments in its technologies and systems to create game changing products reflective of the needs of today’s operators. Current players are more tech-savvy and require greater variety to keep them coming back. They expect immediate payouts and stronger bonus opportunities, and our games and systems are designed to help operators meet the evolving demands of players,” stated Arntzen. “We continue to pioneer advances and take strides to better our products to ensure we remain a true gaming partner.”
