Cox Las Vegas announces LIVE broadcast of the 2014 Las Vegas Veterans Day Parade

WHAT: Cox Communications, Las Vegas is broadcasting live and will provide multiple rebroadcast opportunities of the 2014 Las Vegas Veterans Day Parade on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014. Live parade coverage from downtown Las Vegas is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon on Cox Channel 96, Channel 1096 and streamed on cox96.net. Depending on the volume of last minute parade entries, the broadcast could extend beyond the current two-hour programming block.

The broadcast will be hosted by Beth Fisher and Casey Smith, anchors of Good Morning Las Vegas weekdays on KTNV Channel 13, and will originate from the corner of 4th Street and Clark Avenue in downtown Las Vegas.

“Since the inception of Cox Channel 96 in 2004, we’ve broadcasted the Veterans Day Parade to Southern Nevada viewers live,” said Michael Bolognini, market vice president of Cox Las Vegas. “A decade later, we continue to show our support for our Veterans as well as our community through a dedicated live broadcast and now live stream of the parade online at cox96.net for what has become the largest Veterans Day Parade west of the Mississippi River.”

WHEN: Live broadcast coverage on Cox Channels 96 and 1096 as well as online at www.cox96.net from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014.
