DOWNTOWN3rd TO HOST BLOCK PARTY AUGUST 24

WHAT: Fifth Street Gaming (FSG), operator of Downtown3rd and developer of Downtown Grand, will host a Block Party on Friday, August 24, 2012.  The party begins with a showing of full-length feature film, “Blazing Saddles,” presented by Hogs & Heifers on Downtown3rd’s outdoor screen.  Free popcorn, candy and Jack Daniels samples will be provided throughout the movie – compliments of Hogs & Heifers.

The party continues with a second movie screening of “Tron,” at 11 p.m.  The movie was selected by the organizers of GLOWRUN, a costumed 7k footrace set for October 7 in downtown Las Vegas.

Following the second movie, DJ Totescity will perform and entertain the crowd.

Parking for the Block Party is at the Ogden Garage off Ogden between 3rd and 4th streets. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets or whatever they wish to sit on.

8 -10 p.m:  “Blazing Saddles” on outdoor full-screen
11 p.m. – 2 a.m.:  “Tron” followed by DJ Totescity
