FASHION SHOW PARTNERS WITH AFTER-SCHOOL ALL-STARS LAS VEGAS TO HOST 250 STUDENTS TO EXPERIENCE ADVENTURE TO SANTA

Las Vegas, NV (October 21, 2015) – On November 4, Fashion Show kicks off the holiday season with a special event for 250 Clark County School District students enrolled in the After-School All-Stars program, as the children will be the very first to experience Adventure to Santa – A DreamWorks DreamPlace. Fashion Show will provide bus transportation, a goody bag and delicious treats for these first and second grade students, who may otherwise not have an opportunity to enjoy this one-of-kind, interactive experience.

What a better way to do so than by seeing the magic through the eyes of a child. We plan to roll out the ‘green’ carpet for these After-School All-Stars kids and make this an all-out Shrek event to remember.”
Back for its second year after a highly successful and sold-out first year at Fashion Show, Adventure to Santa elevates the traditional holiday visit by blending the latest technology with captivating stories while Shrek and his friends guide family members of all ages on an unforgettable adventure to the North Pole to meet Santa. New features this year include two new app games, Sleigh Flight School and Gingy’s Cookie Maker, and three additional exterior skins: the Painted Lady, Candy Cottage and Enchanted Log Cabin. At the top of the hour, the cottage will perform a newly designed light show that cues a different exterior skin for each hour.
According to Ranna Daud, executive director, After-School All-Stars Las Vegas, the partnership with Fashion Show goes back several years, when the nonprofit was part of Fashion Show’s annual Holiday Mingle Jingle event. “Today, our relationship with Fashion Show continues to evolve with Adventure to Santa, and we are delighted so many of our students will have this special opportunity to experience such a wonderful holiday tradition to which they may not otherwise have access. Community partnerships like these are so important to us, and we are grateful to Fashion Show for its continual support and interest in our kids.”
Adventure to Santa kicks off the holiday season to the public on Thursday, November 5 and will be open during regular shopping center hours through December 24.
After-School All-Stars Las Vegas provides opportunities for underprivileged youth to participate in free after-school and summer programs that focus on academics, athletics and cultural enrichment. Local programs include tutoring, homework help, language and literacy skills, arts and crafts, dance, music, computers, chess, creative writing, soccer, swimming, cooking and media – just to name a few.
