GIVE WHERE YOU LIVE: NEVADA’S BIG GIVE TO BE HELD ON APRIL 25th
On Friday, April 25th NevadaGIVES will hold the third Nevada’s Big Give, a one day online giving initiative to benefit statewide nonprofit organizations. This annual initiative is a unique, high-visibility promotion of personal giving designed to bring new donors and dollars to nonprofit organizations throughout the state. It’s as simple as: Point. Click. Give. In just 48 hours of online giving, Nevada’s Big Give has raised nearly $1,000,000 and engaged over 6,000 donors. This year Nevada’s Big Give is continuing that trend by encouraging Nevadans to donate in the communities where they live!
After-School All-Stars Las Vegas, a participating organization in Nevada’s Big Give, is looking to meet or exceed its results from last year’s initiative in which the organization was second on the leaderboard in number of unique donors and third in the number of dollars raised for the entire state of Nevada.
“We are grateful for every single donation we receive,” said Ranna Daud executive director of After-School All-Stars. “Without the generosity of our donors, we would not be able to do what do – positively impact underprivileged students in Clark County with free after-school academic and enrichment programs. Every dollar counts and we would like nothing more than to be atop the leaderboard this year.”
