My love for photography!
One of my dreams has always been to own a professional camera and shoot high-quality photos. I would always be awed every time I would see landscape and food photos. I guess I subconsciously discovered this at an early age as I watched my dad shooting photos with his Cannon camera. I would always pose and say: “Okay, I’m ready. Cheese!”
Years passed by and my desire to improve my photography skills were still there. And with my job, I’ve had the opportunity to shoot photos for social media content for some of our clients, including Piero’s Italian Cuisine and Rape Crisis Center. I’ve taken photos at special events for our clients, staff members and even food (Don’t get me started with that one!) So, I recently decided to start working on my photography skills. I registered for my first photography class to complete my Certificate of Achievement in Commercial Photography at the College of Southern Nevada, starting spring 2015.
I’m excited to understand and produce commercial photos that can be utilized in the areas of portraiture, events and so on. Oh! The program also offers a Food Photography and Styling course. I am definitely signing up for that class!
This is one of my 2015 resolutions and I am beyond excited to make this happen!
