 In Press Releases

WHAT:
Las Vegas teen Kimberlee Wiggins’ 13th Birthday Party & Breast Cancer Awareness Event
. On a day when most young girls are thinking about celebrating their first day as a teenager with friends and gifts, Kimberlee is foregoing the presents and asking guests to make a donation for breast cancer awareness. Since she first decided to make her birthday party a fundraiser, Kimberlee’s party has grown from a small group of friends and family to more than 100 guests. Kimberlee’s goal is to raise $500, but hopes that donations will far exceed that amount. All donations will be given to the Las Vegas American Cancer Society. Local businesses also are joining in on Kimberlee’s generosity with pledges and donations of cup cake displays, DJ equipment and photography. Media is invited to attend Kimberlee’s party and interview Kimberlee and her guests.

Kimberlee is asking for donations of any kind to help with her goal. Anyone who participates will be recognized for their generosity with a sign or an ad in a pamphlet that will be handed out to all guests.  Kimberlee suggests: a cash pledge for each remembrance card placed on the tree or balloon released, or a matching donation for the amount raised from Kimberlee’s event.
